With the unwavering support of his wife, Mrs. Rugiatu Moi, his brother, Mr. Joseph Aruna Sesay, and a close family friend, Mr. Mohamed Kanu, Mark Moi has successfully expanded and sponsored numerous projects in community development, education, youth empowerment, and healthcare.

The Moi Foundation is also supported by a dedicated team of esteemed individuals in Sierra Leone who share our vision and mission. Growing up in both urban and rural Sierra Leone, Mark Moi personally experienced the hardships faced by underserved communities. His determination and resilience led him to build a successful career in various reputable institutions in Sierra Leone, rising from entry-level positions to executive roles. These experiences fueled his passion for giving back, which became even stronger after he moved to the United States and officially established the Moi Foundation.

Today, Mark Moi personally funds many of the foundation’s projects, supported by his wife, Joseph Aruna Sesay, and Mohamed Kanu. While working in a reputable Health Information Technology (HIT) organization in Alaska, he also engages in self-employment initiatives to raise additional funds for the foundation. His dedication, along with the commitment of board members and supporters, continues to drive the Moi Foundation’s impact.
